Ultra Color Lab's ProfilePrints service is designed for photographers who color correct their own digital camera files and who also require professional lab quality for their prints. Because we do not have to perform any adjustments to these files, photographers who control their own color and density take advantage of our fastest turnaround and the lowest prices. Of course, for those who want us to perform adjustments to their files, we also offer a lab controlled color option with a fast turnaround through our standard ROES ordering service .

Our ProfilePrints software is a free download that offers the same drag and drop simplicity as our standard ROES software, and is also compatible with either Mac or Windows.
With ProfilePrints you may select from a variety of options such as vignettes, black and white, sepia, album templates, proofs and proof books. Finishing services such as spraying and dry mounting available for an additional charge. For prices, see Options within the ProfilePrints software.

To be successful using ProfilePrints, you will need to have a color managed workflow at your studio. At the bare minimum, this requires having a properly calibrated and hardware profiled monitor when adjusting your colors. A good hardware based profiling device is the i1 (Eye-One) Display 2 from X•Rite.
It is also critical that the files you send in for printing have a valid ICC profile embedded. Without an embedded profile, our systems will not know which colorspace your files were created in, and will not be able to accurately print them. The two most popular colorspaces for photographers to work in are sRGB (sometimes also labeled sRGB IEC 61966-2.1) or Adobe RGB (sometimes referred to as Adobe 1998).
