All images are provided rotated and color corrected at proof resolution on a ROES Proof CD. The ROES Proof CD is used when ordering prints and albums via our online ordering system. You can also use ROES Proof CD images to upload to web sites, create slide show presentations, or to make low resolution proofing CDs for clients.

Although most digital photographers prefer to order from their original full resolution camera files, some photographers (such as those who have us convert their raw files) will order a proof resolution ROES CD from us.

The photographer then uses the ROES Proof CD to order prints and albums via our online ordering system, just like our film photographers.

Our Album design software allows our experienced printmakers to individually correct each image on an album page, just as they would if it were an individual print.

Digital shooters can create album prints using PhotoShop or any of the many album design programs, that create a flattened album page as a single file. But Digital shooters will find advantages to using our free ROES Album Template Designer or LabPrints, as these programs allow our experienced printmakers to individually correct each image on an album page, just as they would if it were an individual print. This saves the photographer the time they would otherwise spend trying to color balance the images used in the album.

Similar to other album design software, using ROES or LabPrints you can place photos in to pre-existing album page layouts, modify exiting layouts, or create new layouts from scratch. When your album design is complete, you simply order the printed pages online through ROES or LabPrints. The software will automatically send us all of your full resolution images and the layouts independently.

In some cases you may want to do some image manipulation yourself because you have a particular artistic effect you want to create or perhaps because you are using other album design software that requires high resolution images. In these cases you can use the ROES Proof CD to order individual high resolution scans of just those images you need to work with. We will render the scans with the same color corrections that we used to make your proofs.
