Clearing ROES Temporary Files
Clearing Temporary Files

Some of our customers have recently experienced receiving an error message when trying to launch Ultra Color Lab ROES. This has been caused by a recent update to Java.

 If you receive this error and are unable to launch ROES, you may need to delete your Java temporary files. To do this, follow the instructions below:

1.    Open your Control Panel from the Start Menu.

 2.    If the Control Panel open in Category view, switch to Classic View using the link in the sidebar on the left.

 3.    Double click on the Java Icon in the Control Panel

4.    In the Temporary Internet Files section of the Java Control Panel, click the Settings button.

 

 5.    In the Temporary Files Settings window, make sure that Keep temporary files on my computer is checked and click the Delete Files button.

6.    In the Delete Temporary Files confirmation box, leave the Applications and Applets as well as Trace Files and Logs options checked, and press the OK button.

 

 7.    Close the Java Control Panel.

 8.    Open My Computer, right click on the C drive, and select Properties.

 9.    In the Properties window, choose Disk Cleanup.

 

10.    Wait while the computer calculates the amount of space it can free up.

11.    In the Disc Cleanup window, select just the options for Downloaded Program Files, Temporary Internet Files, and Temporary files, and then click OK.

 

12.    Go to www.ultracolorlab.com and click on the link for ROES Online Ordering.

 

 

13.    Scroll to the bottom of the ROES page and click the link labeled Click Here to Download Ultra Color’s ROES. .

 

14.    The ROES application will be downloaded to your computer and should launch normally at this point. If you need help with this procedure, please call us at 800t478.2224.
